▲ MY BEST TEACHER

I want to speak about what makes him special for me.

Truly he was my teacher only for a short period of time but the last day with us he told our class a  story that he had written which makes me think about what means to be a good teacher.

He finished the story saying that to be a teacher is to try to get the best from each student, to give them tools and to open their minds...while you know that you're not going to see the result of your effort. But you know that you have the chance to change their future.

Luis, I hope you continue telling hopeful stories to the future teachers.

Boys, you must strive to find your own voice. Because the longer you wait to begin, the less likely you are to find it at all. Thoreau said, "Most men lead lives of quiet desperation." Don't be resigned to that. Break out!  (Dead Poets Society)

(When you see "▲" in the title like this time, it's because the post is an activity of the English course)
